Who is the piece for? What did you agree to make? When is it due, and what has been paid? Keep those answers in one commission record, so several client projects do not become several disconnected lists.
No card required. Then $4.99 USD/month if you subscribe.
How it works
Create a record after receiving a client request.
Add the brief, delivery date, price and payment details as agreed.
Update progress and review the deadline in your studio calendar.
Turn a client request into a clear commission record
After a client contacts you, create a commission with their details, the artwork title and delivery date. Save the brief so you can return to what was requested. Add more information as the work develops instead of trying to settle every detail before you can start tracking it.
Check what needs making and what has been paid
Follow each commission from pending to in progress, completed and delivered. Keep its agreed price and payment details alongside the work. Before starting your studio day or following up with a client, check the project record rather than reconstructing its status from messages.
See delivery dates before accepting more work
Review commission deadlines together in your studio calendar. A portrait due on Friday and an exhibition opening that weekend appear in the same view. Filter to commissions when planning client work, or show every category to see what else needs your time before agreeing to another deadline.
AN EXAMPLE FROM STUDIO LIFE
Two portraits, two clients, two delivery dates
Keep a separate record for each portrait, with its client brief, price, payments and progress. Review both delivery dates in the calendar before accepting a third request. You can see the dates together without mixing up the project details.
Does Atelier Helper find clients or receive orders for me?
Atelier Helper helps you manage commissions you receive. It is not an art marketplace or a public order form; create the project record after a client contacts you.
Can I keep payment details with a commission?
Yes. Record the price and payment details with the commission. Tracking a payment record does not collect a payment from the client.
Can I track several commissions at once?
Yes. Keep separate records for each commission and review their delivery dates together in the studio calendar. You can add payment details when you need them rather than filling everything in at the start.
